About the event

8 Week Awakening Hatha Series 

Waking the Mind-Body-Soul up, foundations for a beautiful day 

Awakening to our potential, to compassion, understanding and setting our nervous system into the best place that we can to enjoy the day. 


1. Foundations - Setting up the foundations of our practice, with physical alignment, with breath practices and mediation to calm and sooth our mind and body.

2. Authentic-Self - Practicing to tune in, and to listen to our mind, body and emotions, respecting our limits and tuning into where we can strive a little futher, practicing the balance and the art of staying Authentic to ourselves. 


3. Inner-Strength - Cultivating an inner sense of stength, sometimes this may be physical strength, but often we have unacknowledged mental and emotional strength that when we become more aware of these strengths within, we feel empowered and can better manage stresses in life. 

4. Loving Kindness - Practice of loving kindness, to offer this kindness to ourselves during the practice, and therefore allow this loving kindess to seep into our every day. 

5. Listening - Tuning into the sounds around us, and the sounds within, we begin to quieten the mind and learn to listen to all the subtles that enrich and enliven our experience of life. 

6. Expressing - Developing and enjoy our ability to express ourselves fully, daring to try something new and embody our full expressive selves, to enjoy, have fun and be a little more dynamic in the practice. 

7. Envision Potential - Envisioning our highest potentional and practicing to embody this through our asana practice, expanding our belief systems to trust we can be our full and wholesome selfs. 

8. Deep Knowing - Tunning in deeply and know we are the ones who have the answers, deep within, in quiet places, we are the ones to the answers of our lives, we are the ones we can turn to and seek wisdom and support from. This is not to deny that we can't get this support and wisdom from others and from the forests, but that we are part of that deep knowing, we are also that place to seek support from.
